Get Invovled
Together we can save thousands of families! Students in Courtney Dwyer Satkoski's Foundations of Civic Engagement course and Integrated Core Senior Seminar at Florida Gulf Coast University are raising awareness and money for bed nets. Through our project we hope to raise $20,000. FGCU students are working to sell t-shirts and koozies as well as develop their own project initiatives throughout Southwest Florida.
The charitable organization we are working with is called Goodcity out of Chicago. They are a federally registered not for profit organization under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. With your support, no one will have to decide who sleeps unprotected.
100% of sales and donations go toward the purchase of nets in Kanke, Nigeria. The purchase of one t-shirt at $15 will result in 6 nets shipped to Nigeria— more than any other net donation program. Your $15 donation covers the cost of purchase, education, and shipping for three nets, and Clarke Mosquito Control will make a matching donation of three additional nets. Those nets will protect 6 families for 5 years! You can also purchase koozies for $4 each and save 1.5 families for 5 years! With your help, no one will have to decide who sleeps unprotected.
